Monica Allison, CPN president, was awarded the University of Pennsylvania's 2012 Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Involvement Recognition Award, at a beautiful Interfaith Ceremony this evening.The Award is given to someone for their involvement and contributions to building community in one or more of the following ways:
- Promoting nonviolence
- Combining religious beliefs with positive social action
- Working toward racial equality and harmony
- Advocating for/working with disenfranchised people
We can think of no one more deserving than this award than our very own Monica Allison. Congratulations, Monica!
